You Will Need One Of Two Things To Enter Japan From November 2022 Onwards
Option 1: You will need to have to be vaccinated 3 times by a WHO recognized vaccine (more information here)
Option 2: You will need to have a negative Covid-19 test (more information here)

(Visit Japan Web is a web service for smooth arrival procedure at airport. The Visit Japan Web website is for both international travelers and Japanese citizens to use. This website is for Coronavirus, Quarantine, Immigration, and Customs declaration procedures.)
The Visit Japan Web is available in these languages: English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional) and Korean

Before boarding your flight to Japan you will need to follow these four steps:
Step 1: Create/register an account for Visit Japan Web here (click on “Sign Up For A New Account”) follow this step by step guide on how to register for an account here
Step 2: Register your personal information (eg, nationality) or the information of the people travelling with you who are not able to fill up the form themselves (eg. Children)
Step 3: Register your arrival schedule
Step 4: Register required information on arrival procedure
Once you have filled up and submitted all the documents, the status bar should turn from red to BLUE if all your documents have been review and verified. If your status bar turns yellow, it means that your information has not been reviewed yet or you have missing information.
(Side note, you are also able to fill in your travel insurance details)
When you have landed in Japan, show your Visit Japan Web QR code that will be in your account to the quarantine officer, immigration officer and customs officer for a smoother entry into Japan

Step By Step Guide For How To Register An Account For Visit Japan Web
First, you will need to go to the website by clicking here or by going to https://www.vjw.digital.go.jp/main/#/vjwplo001
Click the button that says “Sign Up For A New Account” near the bottom of the page
Once you have read through the “Terms of use” and “Privacy Policy” select both check boxes and select on “Next” at the bottom right of the page
Key in your contact email at the top, and then key in your password two more times at the boxes below. Once you have keyed in your email and passwords, click on the “I am human” checkbox and select the “Create Account” button at the bottom of the page
You will then need to get a verification/ confirmation code from the email address you have keyed in and enter the verification code under the “Enter confirmation code” box. Once you have verified your email, a box should pop up saying “Your email address has been confirmed”
Select “Go To Login Screen” to log into your new Visit Japan Web account.
Key in your details (key in your email and then password that you used to register for the Visit Japan Web account) and click on the “Remember Me” checkbox if you would like your login details to be remembered. And click on “Login”
With that, you have completed your account registration for the Visit Japan Web. Congratulations!

What Should I Do If I Have Not Been Vaccinated More Than 3 Times? (Or do not have the accepted vaccines)
Don’t worry! All you will need to do is get a negative Covid-19 test that has been done within the past 72 hours departure at a medical facility (eg Clinic or Hospital). Please also note that Japan only accepts certain testing methods (qualitative antigen test are not accepted)
Once you have received your negative Covid results, please proceed to register for an account with Visit Japan Web here. Once you have registered for an account, you will need to fill up the required documents and submit your negative Covid test when asked for.

How To Fill Up The SG Arrival Card
The SG Arrival Card must be completed by everyone and anybody entering Singapore, whether they are Singaporeans or not.
To fill up the SG Arrival Card you will first need to go to their website by opening this link Please read through the things to note when submitting the SG Arrival Card on their website
Once you have finished reading through the page, select the “Submit Online” button in bright blue
After selecting “Submit Online”, it should bring you to this page which is where you will actually be filling up the form needed.
Please select if you are a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Long-Term Pass Holder. Or select whichever selection is correct. (In this section of the blog we will be talking about how to fill up the card if you are a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Long-Term Pass Holder)
If you have selected the “Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents & Long-Term Pass Holders” option you will need to fill up your NRIC/FIN, Email address, confirm email address, Trip Information and Health Declaration. Once you have filled up all the details, there will be an email sent to you confirming you have filled up the SG arrival card.
(Please note when filling up the section for trip information and they ask for the “Date of Arrival to Singapore”: please select the date you are arriving in Singapore EG you are arriving on 4 April 2022 select 4 April 22)
