Our review about All Day Breakfast Cafe 21:
A few weeks ago, we had the opportunity to be invited to a food tasting event at All Day Breakfast 21 which located in the JJH Hotel at North Bridge Road. (Muslim friendly according to the staff)
When we reached at the cafe, we noticed that the exterior of the shop was clean and well-maintained.
The menu is posted near the cashier, so you are able to view the prices and decide what to order.
After a while of deciding what to eat, we went to the cashier and she took our orders swiftly in a short time, gave us a buzzer and told us to wait patiently inside the cafe.
Once we stepped into the cafe, we saw two clean tables. One at the left corner, and one at the right corner near the cashier and cooking area where you can watch them cook your food. The shop looks quite cozy and the decorations were very simple and beautiful.
Our food came within 10 minutes as it was freshly made upon ordering. We ordered quite a number of food.
The “Crispy Chicken Cutlet Sandwich” costs $15.90.
It comes with two buttered toast sandwiching a crispy chicken with mayonnaise sauce, cheese and lettuce. It also comes with some French fries too!
The chicken sandwich is very well cooked with the meat being crunchy, but not burnt. The French fries are cooked well. The portion is quite good for breakfast.
The “Hearty Breakfast Platter” costs $16.90.
It has four pieces of buttered toast, two sunny-side ups, sautéed mushrooms, two pieces of chicken sausages, some cherry tomatoes and lettuces on the side.
The buttered toast tasted crunchy, not burnt. It was well coated with butter on the bread. The sunny-side ups were cooked to perfection.
A little runny, great to pair it with the buttered toast! The two pieces of chicken sausages were done perfectly. It tasted great! My favourite was the sautéed mushrooms! They were really creamy and delicious!
The “Thai Green Milk Tea” costs $5.
The Thai Green Milk Tea tasted really great, not bitter but sweet! It was not diluted at all even with some ice cubes in it.
The “Brown Sugar Fresh Milk” costs $5.50.
The Brown Sugar Fresh Milk was great too! It had chewy boba jellies that tasted great!
Overall, the drinks we ordered tasted really good and they were refreshing too. Perfect for a humid day like today!
Lastly, we got to try their brand new dessert menu!
We ordered two ice creams which is the cheapest in town for only $4 for two scoops! You are able to choose up to two ice cream flavours that you like!
They have flavours like: matcha green tea, cookies and cream, coconut, salted caramel brownie, double chocolate, taro, bubblegum and lychee.
We ordered two ice cream flavours: taro and bubblegum with a top up to get a pandan waffle with an additional cost of $3.50.
The bubblegum ice cream tasted creamy. It had some chunks of gummies which were nice to chew.
The taro ice cream was our favourite flavour as it was one flavour that we have not tried before! It was something new to us which we enjoyed a lot.
The pandan waffle is a little crunchy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. A great pair with the ice cream! We loved it a lot!
Special thanks to All Day Breakfast 21 for the invitation and for having us over! We had a wonderful time eating the delicious food! (According to the staff, they are Muslim-friendly!)
